I forgot.

I completely forgot about YouTube-sday™ yesterday. Got busy at work and BAM!!! The day was over and I forgot.

Interesting enough, today I read this link, and for me forgetting, it's the perfect follow up to my small error. Here's the gist of the link: the current administration in the White House has totally screwed up and violated the law when it comes the email correspondence. See, while the previous admin (ie: Bill Clinton) had no issues with the archiving of emails as required by law, this current admin just scrapped the entire system (automated, btw) for their own, which was a manual back up and wide open to be exploited. And to top it off, many of the people in the WH admin used personal email addresses to send correspondence. If just one of those emails sent had anything to do with the action of the White House and the law of the land, that is a serious violation of federal law. Over 1/3 of the current emails on the server for these personal accounts (Republican National Committee email accounts, for the record) were sent to .gov emails, so we can assume at least one the millions of lost emails went to a .gov address.

That leads me (and should lead you) to one of two conclusions: either Dubya and the rest of his cronies are the STUPIDEST people on the face of the earth, or the most corrupt.

Either/or, that makes him the worst president ever. Especially when they are planning another bull%$&# war.

LAME!

Anyone had Cracker Jack lately? Can the prize inside get any worse? I remember when they had some pretty sweet prizes. Heck - I used to live near the plant (when it was by Midway Apt), and you could walk in there an buy a bag of just Cracker Jack prizes. And there were some sweet prizes in the past. Little toy cars, stickers, trivia slide cards, maze games....tons of cool stuff for a quarter, with the caramel corn as a bonus.

Now? Geeez. There's a word for it. And let me see if I can spell it correctly:

C-R-A-P

Man - I can't believe the current prize selections dropped in the bag. And they refer to it as a "toy surprise". Oh, it's a surprise alright. You wanna tell me how folding the corners over on some paper to cover the face of a young Susan B. Anthony to show an OLDER Susan B. Anthony is "designed for fun"?? They don't even mention "Toy Surprise Inside!" on the front of the bag anymore. Just have Jack holding that pathetic piece of paper. Bring back the baseball cards!!!

Thank goodness for zero trans fat, though.

CRIKEY!

So I guess the Crocs thing is still going along ok. I really could care less their yearly sales and such, but they are still popular footwear, as I see them on feet about town.

Here's what I don't get - aren't they kids shoes? They certainly aren't big on support, and you won't be a track star in them. I can see the idea of a lazy, quick slip-on, but they are not are shoes for a man, which it what I saw the other day while driving. What guy goes to Target or Walmart, thinks these suckers are fashionable and gets himself a pair? Mandals are bad enough on a dude. Now crocs?

This world is going to Hell. I swear.

YouTube-sday™: The Century Edition

I like this little film - people from the age of 1 to 100 banging on a drum.

I bet that woman who is 91 has been a total party her whole life.

YouTube-sday™: Hang in there

I just like this song. No funny, wacky comment. No misdirection humor. I just like this song.

YouTube-sday™: all hopped up on sugar

I really just like the music Thomas Dolby has created. This one happened to come up in shuffle while I was eating lunch, so enjoy:

Best part - according to his Wikipedia entry, he's working on new material. Sweet!
